Leveraging leading-edge technology and focusing on innovation, the customer unique platform facilitates the marketing and sale of total-loss, damaged and low-value vehicles. The organization needed a solution to transition from a manual bidding system to an automated one, to increase the volume of vehicles that could be purchased.

We developed from scratch an automated solution to do the following:
Query vehicles available for purchase from multiple vendors’ databases
Invoke an internal AI tool to determine appropriate offer amount for a vehicle, based on complex algorithms
Auto-extend an offer on a vehicle without the need for human intervention
Provide real-time status updates on purchase lifecycle to vendor databases
This solution was built entirely using Lightning components on the Salesforce platform.
Implementing this solution allowed the customer to scale and significantly increase their throughput for vehicle purchases, without having to increase their purchasing team headcount. Also, an automated end-to-end solution allowed for the purchasing team to focus human attention on oversight and special-case scenarios, and not repeatable, manual tasks.
